Since Nocturne turned one year old yesterday, here’s a quick doodle from when Lucas and Kaya first met! Yeah… might need some context. But I’m not going to give it.

Oliver: Oh, personality? Um okay…
1. I like listening much more than talking~ Although that doesn’t mean that I don’t love having conversations with others!
2. I try to act mature, and I try to look brave and strong, because I don’t want Kaya worrying about me. My first mission, I messed up really badly, and ever since, I’ve been trying to prove myself, a bit. But I do wish sometimes that I could play with other children, and just run around and have fun~ But I have to look grown-up… I need to feel good enough to belong to the team…
3. Lucas tells me that I rush into battle. I don’t think out moves and I get myself hurt too much because of it. He may be right…
Lucas:
1.Personality, eh? Well, I’ll be honest here. But just now. I really like to act cool to impress people, ya know? I want people to like me. To think I’m cool. Because I don’t like that feeling you get when you don’t have a lot of friends.
2. Yeah, speaking of that, when I was really little, my ma and I lived in a kinda secluded place, in the woods. I don’t know why, don’t ask me. So I didn’t really meet too many mons often. My first real pal was Kaya, and then I wound up hangin’ with her and her (and soon my) friends a lot. I miss those guys a bunch now, actually. Hope they come this way soon.
3. I love watchin’ stuff like Indiana Jones and Star Wars and other adventure and scifi flicks. I dunno, they’re just really cool.
Kaya:
1. Oh well uh I love making new friends! I just really like being with friends and talking with them!
2. I guess I’m really upbeat and cheery usually~ Although now I’ve been feeling a bit sad, but I don’t want to worry my friends! I hate worrying my friends!
3. Um, what else? Well, I’m really scared of deep water and really deep caves. It’s pretty obvious why I don’t like deep water, haha!

Lucas: Hehe, I’d be delighted!
1. Well, this is embarrassing to admit, but my hair didn’t always stand up so slickly like it can now. I remember when I was a kid I had this dumb-looking ‘do that I’m really glad I grew out of.
2. And now since I like to keep my fed on my head at all times, I’d rather not see how my hair looks now… Probably a hat-head mess.
3. I’ve got… what’s that color called? Turquoise or something like that? Well, it’s some sort of greenish bluish color. I’ve got that color eyes.
4. When I use illusions, I usually forget somethin’ or other when “changing.” It’s hard to get a transformation down perfect, you know! I most often wind up forgetting to change my collar or brows when changing, they’re such small details man!
5. Huh, what else… well, now that Tao’s not a giant ice rink anymore, my fur’s been sheddin’ a lot. It may not be too noticeable, but that frost made me grow a winter coat. And now It’s finally all Spring-like again… It’s not fun changing back, I’ll tell ya.

Oliver: Oh, um… w-what exactly do I say here? Um…
1. Well, it’s quite easy to tell that I only have one working eye, right? Because of that, it’s quite hard for me to see things that are to my left or straight ahead. However, my eyesight is rather good, so what I can see, I can see well!
2. Because of my lack of proper vision, I’ve honed my sense of smell a bit. It’s still definitely not as good as Lucas’, though! He has such good senses! But yes, I have an okay sense of smell, and my hearing’s a bit subpar, but I don’t mind.
3.I’ve gotten two long-lasting scars from fights… My eye, of course, came from that Weavile named Slasher. The other cut, on the other side of my face, isn’t nearly as bad, though. Mr. Degue grazed me while we were fighting. I hold no grudge against Mr. Degue, though, after hearing why he fought us and seeing what happened with Mr. Sorbet… well, I didn’t understand at the time, but…I see why he was so adamant in stopping us.
4. Evolving from a shroomish made me look so different, and the thing I love most is having arms now! They’re not the best for grasping or anything, but it still feels so nice~
5. And, um, another thing I found out when I became a breloom is that the spheres at the end of my tail are spores! If I brush them against something, they usually come off and have some sort of odd effect, like causing pokemon to be sleepy or paralyzing them. I really don’t want that to happen, though! I can’t help it, it’s quite hard to control.
Oh, well, it’s your turn now, Kaya~
Kaya: B-but! Me? Um…
1. Um, well, I… when I was fighting Sorbet, I wound up getting hit in my fire-vents. I’m really scared because I can’t ignite or anything now and I don’t know how long it’ll take me to get better! I don’t want to show Lucas or Ollie that I’m scared, though… I’d just really feel bad…
2. My fur’s a bit fuzzier around my head than my brother’s and any other cyndaquil I’ve seen! I kinda like it though, it makes me feel kind of special, heehee!
3. Um, my eyes are kinda grey-blue, just like my dad’s! My brother got my dad’s green eyes though, but my sis has eyes like mine.
4.This isn’t really my body, but my bandana’s always on me, so I guess it counts a bit? c: My dad gave it to me before Lucas and I went to Tao, he wore it when he was a merchant. I never take it off because it reminds me of home and all of my friends and family! Also, it’s really comfy, too~
5. My eyesight’s kind of really bad for faraway vision. A lot of cyndaquils squint because we don’t have great vision, and I do usually have to squint when seeing something far away or when it’s really, really bright! It’s a bit sucky having bad/sensitive eyes, but I don’t mind too much. I can see a lot! Plus, I’d feel bad complaining when pokemon like Panther and Nikki and even Ollie have a harder time seeing than me.
